IRL – A magic 8 ball works like this: The user holds the ball and thinks of a yes or no question. They then shake the ball, which agitates a printed die floating in dark blue liquid inside of the ball. When the shaking stops, the die settles to the bottom of the ball, revealing a yes, no, or vague answer.
